In 1999 I earned my 1000 hour master massage graduate diploma from Rainstar University in Scottsdale, Arizona. This all-inclusive program featured an immersion into the major systems of the human body, along with a thorough hands-on study of the art and business of massage therapy.  

In June of 2000 I earned my neuromuscular massage therapy (NMT) certification from The Paul St. John Institute in Florida.

Neuromuscular Therapy is a comprehensive program of soft tissue manipulation techniques that balance the central nervous system (brain, spinal column and nerves) with the structure and form of the musculoskeletal system. NMT is based on neurological laws that explain how the central nervous system maintains homeostatic balance. These same laws dictate how the central nervous system initiates pain response.

From this advanced teaching I learned how to assess a person’s posture (which often reveals clues to the source of their pain) and precise massage techniques that treat muscles accurately and efficiently. 

In addition to my specialty in neuromuscular massage (medical massage), I offer deep-tissue massage, sports massage, relaxation massage, lymphatic drainage massage, Hawaiian lomi lomi massage, foot reflexology, and any combination of these in my practice.

I have successfully treated hundreds of patients and clients from all walks of life with massage therapy, and I look forward to meeting and working with you at the Hawaiian Experience Spa in Scottsdale Arizona!
