Aloha, my name is Chelsea! I have been doing massage therapy for a little over 8 years and it is one of my greatest passions. The reason I went into massage therapy was because of my grandfather, who enjoyed having his feet rubbed, and when he was in hospice I realized that massage was so healing and my calling. Early on in my training I learned many more ways massage can be healing and beneficial for many different people, I have been able to adapt my massage techniques to benefit individuals through different modalities which include but are not limited to: Deep tissue, Trigger point, prenatal, sports, Swedish, and lymphatic drainage, to fulfill my client’s needs. I have been able to assist people with fibromyalgia, scleroderma, arthritis, through many surgeries including knee, back and shoulder as well as normal life aches and pains as well and those who just want to be pampered.
I have lived in Arizona and Utah which has enriched my cultural experiences which helps me understand what people need. Some hobbies I enjoy doing are kayaking, hiking, motorcycle riding, snorkeling, spending time with family, and vacationing. While in Utah I helped run a family day spa as well as graduated and became licensed in cosmetology adding to my knowledge, but also enhancing my love for massage. Recently I returned to Arizona and am excited to meet many new people. I was fortunate enough to have been able to travel to Kauai, Hawaii where I developed a love for the Hawaiian culture, art work and life style. I am extremely excited about the opportunity to be a part of the Ohana at Hawaiian Experience Spa and to learn and enhance my skills in different forms of massage therapy such as Lomi Lomi.
Helpful Tip: Always drink plenty of water before and after massage to rid the body of toxins.
