Aloha, my name is Diane and I am an AZ native. I have lived in cities all over AZ. During my high school years I lived in Knoxville, TN and after graduating from massage school in 2013, I lived in Southern California. I attended the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe after having worked for 7 years at a postgraduate skincare institute. I learned so much about skin health during that time. I truly have a passion for helping people with their skin and body care concerns. My specialty is a combination Swedish and Deep Tissue style of massage. Through my extensive training in many different modalities as well as Yoga teacher training and Aromatherapy, I have learned that the body is an amazing instrument and if we give it the nurturing that it needs to do what it does best, it will heal and perform amazing feats for us! My talent lies in holding space for others for whatever they need energetically, while intuitively diagnosing imbalances structurally. I enjoy combining the technical, medical aspects of massage with the energetic aspects of the healing power of touch and personal connection. I have worked in 5 star resorts, Celebrity endorsed gyms, and private boutiques. I love meeting new people and creating unique and memorable experiences for my guests.
I have always loved the ocean. Living near the beach in So Cal is where I call HOME no matter where else I go. It always calls me back. I have been very fortunate to have visited beaches all over the world, including Barcelona, Istanbul, St. Marten and of course, Hawaii! Visiting Maui was the closest thing to “paradise on earth” that I have ever experienced. I stayed at the Grand Wailea resort and I can honestly say that it is a breathtakingly magical place! During that trip, I also stayed in Waikiki and lived to tell the tale of the great 2006 earthquakes that rocked the islands. The big one was a 6.7 magnitude and was so strong that it woke me from sleep! The island lost power for many hours. But amidst all the chaos, it was inspiring to see how the merchants and islanders were there for each other and helped the tourists to feel at ease and still enjoy our stay. They lit up huge bonfires all along the shoreline in the darkness of the night. It was an experience I will never forget. Hawaii has a special place in my heart. And so it was no surprise that I was drawn to the Hawaiian Experience Spa. I look forward to learning the art of Lomi Lomi. I still love to travel and hope to someday be able to study Thai massage in Thailand. I am also looking forward to getting my esthetics and cosmetology licenses in the near future.
