Hello my name is Didi, I’m a massage therapist. I graduated from Brookline college with a 3.8 GPA in Tucson Arizona. I was born and raised out there by my mother, who is actually the one who empowered me to do something better with my life, it wasn’t until she got badly hurt that I found my calling. My mother took a fall and ended up in the hospital. Shortly after she started to have weining pain and her doctor was prescribing her all types prescription drugs some of them made her sick. I began taking care of her and seeing her on the weekends. I then was introduced to her friend Sandy who does lymphatic drainage and she told me all about how massage was a natural way to heal the body. She really inspired me, so after graduation I moved to Phoenix, and extended 160 hours at Therapeutic Retreat with Marie. She taught me so many new techniques and Diane really helped me with my form. Some of my favorite massages are lymphatic drainage, reflexology, and shiatsu. I do plan on furthering one if not all of them, because i love it so much. I am also very fond of aromatherapy, it does wonders. I learned so much in school and it only fascinated me more. I learned Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Chair Massage Assessment Techniques, Hydrotherapy/Spa Treatments, Myofacial Release Trigger Point Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Polarity, Acupressure & Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Prenatal, infant & Geriatric Massage. Massage has given me purpose I found myself in it. It’s so much more than just relaxation, it’s healing. I enjoy helping people, I’ve helped my mother my whole life and I thought why stop there? So many people could use the benefits massage has to offer.
Healthy tip: It’s always important to drink water after a massage, maybe even with some essential oils in it.
