Aloha! My name is Jaylee. I’ve been a massage therapist since 2011. I graduated from the East Valley Institute of Technology with 700 hrs. I recently moved back to Arizona after living in Idaho for two years, where I also worked as a massage therapist. Massage has been a long-time passion of mine from the time I was a little girl. Part of what draws me to it is my love of helping those around me. I specialize in helping people who suffer from tension headaches. As a child, my older sister fell out of bed and damaged the axis bone in her neck, because of this she suffered from migraines frequently. My desire to help relieve her pain was one of the first things that set me down the path of massage therapy. Later after I got my license, my little brother had to have neurosurgery at six years old because of a chronic brain condition and I was able to help alleviate his pain during his recovery (after receiving the go-ahead from his neurosurgeon) thanks to the training and experience I have received. It’s gratifying to me that I can help him manage his pain so he can have a more normal childhood.
Headache management is not the only thing on my repertoire. I can also do pre-natal, hot stone, lymphatic, abdominal massage for IBS, and other modalities. I am attentive and flexible with my massage routines. I believe that massage does not have to hurt for you to get the results you are looking for. What’s most important to me is that you leave feeling better than when you came in.
When I’m not doing massage some other passions of mine are writing and animals. I participate in a weekly writing club. My husband and I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, but we had to stop because we kept coming home with new pets! We own 4 cats and 1 dog. We have fostered 10 cats and 4 dogs. We have loved every creature that comes into our home.
