Aloha! My name is Liz, and I have been a body worker since 2011. I attended Arizona School of Massage Therapy in Tempe and have loved what I do ever since. I considered many careers – all in the healing field, from Psychologist to Dental Hygienist; and I am so glad I chose massage. I like to help my client reach their goals; whether it be you want to relax after a long day/week at work, all the way to rehabilitative work that helps with physical pain and/or restrictions. My work is a mix of all that I have learned; Myofascial release, trigger point, therapeutic massage, and lymph drainage to name a few. I have also taken classes for Kinesio Taping, prenatal massage, and lessons in the history of massage. I have been able to enter the world of Lomi Lomi through Hawaiian Experience Spa and it has been a fun and great new experience!
Originally from southern California (Joshua Tree to be exact), I lived in Las Vegas for a little less than 4 years before moving to Arizona to be with my family, especially my new nephews that were on their way. I have always been in the desert but I honestly long for rain and/or official seasons (maybe not so much shoveling snow, or black ice on the road though). I love animals and if I could, I would have a haven for anything from pigs to birds (one day I plan to have a pet pig in my family). In my spare moments I love to spend time with family who include my husband and our furry family (two cats and a tea cup Chihuahua – don’t tell her she’s only 3 pounds though, she doesn’t know it), my parents and my brother, and my sister and her family including my two nephews and one niece. I also love arts and crafts, and go to Paint Night way too often.
If you haven’t been to Hawaiian Experience Spa I encourage you to come see all of our Ohana. This has been the best place I have worked for in my career and I know you’ll love the experience too!
