Aloha, my name is Miguel A. Cruz Romano and I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I graduated high school in 2002 and I didn’t know if I wanted to attend college if at all. I started to look into schools to see if I liked anything, then I came across Apollo College Massage Therapy course. I became very interested in learning more about the course and how I could turn it into a career. After talking to the representative there and obtaining a little bit more information about the course I knew at that moment it’s what I wanted to do.
I have always cared about people and helping them, I knew in this line of work I was able to do that. I graduated Massage school on December of 2003, I was taught many different modalities while taking the course. I learned Sports Massage, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone Massage and Spa Treatments. I feel that one of my unique qualities as a massage therapist is I have a good touch for massage. I have learned throughout my career how to feel and understand the muscle.
Many of my clients have commented about my touch and experience in their session with me. Once my client is fully satisfied with the results they were looking for, then that’s when I know I did my job correctly. In the 5 years I have been doing this I have had many experiences and amazing stories from clients. Some come in over stressed, in pain, or just can’t walk straight but once I give them their massage they leave my table satisfied.
I have been providing massage service for over 5 years since I graduated from Apollo College. One day I would like to have my own business and the steps I have taken towards that goal is accomplishing 720 hours of Massage training in school. As a Massage Therapist I prefer 3 modalities; deep tissue, sports massage and aromatherapy. These are some of the techniques I will be using once I open my business and I will continue to help and assist my clients during their time of need.
