I received my massage therapy training at the Ohio College of Massotherapy in Akron, Ohio and have been licensed since 2007. In 2013, I moved to Arizona from northeast Ohio. I have previously worked as a massage therapist in a massage spa, non-profit wellness center and a chiropractor’s office, who also is a nutritionist and acupuncturist. My foundation is built on Swedish massage and I am skilled in the modalities of deep tissue, sports massage, myofasical release, hot stone, reflexology, prenatal massage and chair massage.
My interest in the body’s physical health started as a teen with participating on various sports teams. I have always included some type of exercise/fitness training into my schedule, with the belief that our physical body is our temple and one truly amazing gift! As time went on, I began to focus more attention on the interaction of our physical, emotional, and mental health and how they work together to affect our overall health and wellbeing. I believe the health of our body, mind and spirit is one of our greatest assets. My desire to help others feel physically, emotionally and mentally be their best, has led me to become a massage therapist.
I feel lucky to be in a line of work I thoroughly enjoy. During each session, I strive to exceed my client’s expectation and am grateful to be able to help ease each client’s pain while improving their health & wellbeing. I am excited and grateful to be a new part of the Hawaiian Spa family and am looking forward to continuing my growth as a massage therapist.
