In Hawaiian the word ‘ohana means extended family. That is the word we choose to describe our team, so you will see the words “ ‘ohana”, “ ‘ohana member”, etc. throughout various things you may read from the spa. We are a family and work together to serve our guests while have an awesome experience ourselves. Our family vibe is just one of the things that makes us unique.
As you may have seen in the Owners Update this month, the spa is rapidly moving ahead, putting the challenges of Covid behind us in many ways. Just like last month, that includes adding lots of new faces to the ‘ohana. This month we are happy to welcome four new ‘ohana members to our team, on top of the thirteen we added last month! Each of them bring their own skills, experience and energy and we would like to say e komi mai to each one. If you are regular guest, please don’t hesitate to say aloha if you see a new face. Our new ‘ohana members include:
Cristina (Scottsdale and Chandler Spa)
Gel (Scottsdale Spa)
Natasha (Chandler Spa)
Shannon (Chandler Spa)
Nathan, 6 years
Emerald, 1 year
Visit our ‘Ohana Page to see pictures and profiles of the above team member.

Hawaiian Experience Spa is more than an employer, we are a family – an ‘ohana. We care about each other and help each other succeed. Steve, Cathy and Mike try to look out for everyone and do everything we can as owners to help the members of our ‘ohana thrive professionally while maintaining a healthy work/life balance. We are proud to be different.
Our ‘ohana consists of massage therapists, aestheticians, spa coordinators and managers. The spas have a great work environment, a nice benefit package, solid pay, and even trips to Hawaii for nearly everyone!
