In Hawaiian the word ‘ohana means extended family. That is the word we choose to describe our team, so you will see the words “ ‘ohana”, “ ‘ohana member”, etc. throughout various things you may read from the spa. We are a family and work together to serve our guests while have an awesome experience ourselves. Our family vibe is just one of the things that makes us unique.
As the spa owners we truly cannot say enough about our ‘ohana. They are an amazing group, always trying to do their best for each other and our guests.
This month we want to especially recognize our friend and the Chief Experience Officer of our company, Jodi Ross, as she celebrates her 10th anniversary with us!
Jodi started as a massage therapist in 2013 and worked her way up to her current position of Chief Experience Officer for the spa. During her journey she has served in nearly every position at the spa ranging from Spa Administrator to Spa Manager. She was our Chief Massage Therapist and Lomi Lomi Trainer and has taken advanced lomi lomi massage training in Hawaii. She is known for successfully opening and developing the Goodyear Spa and for making it into the Hawaiian experience everyone loves today.
Jodi is not only our longest serving ‘ohana member, she is also a trusted friend and an invaluable asset to the spa, its guests, our ‘ohana and especially to Steve, Mike and Cathy Ibach. Mahalo nui loa Jodi for your dedication and true aloha spirit!
