Aloha! I have enjoyed living in the Hawaiian Islands 20 plus years. During my time in the Islands I was very honored to be immersed in Hawaiian culture and traditions. I studied Lomi Lomi massage with Kumu Jeana Iwalani Naluai upcountry Maui, who studied with Auntie Margaret Machado one of the first Hawaiians to start teaching Lomi Lomi outside of their O’hana (family). Auntie Margaret was known as the Kupuna ( powerful source of wisdom) of Lomi Lomi Massage. Lomi Lomi is a part
of the Hawaiian daily lifestyle and held sacred to the Hawaiian O’hana. It was passed down through the Kahuna (priestly) lines and a component of traditional Native Hawaiian medicine. I was very honored to be able study this tradition.
My massage education began in Sedona, Arizona in 2010. I have 9 years experience including studies in Lomi Lomi, Connective Tissue, Deep Tissue, Medical Massage, Sports Massage, and Hot Stone Massage and Swedish. I am currently licensed in Hawaii, Florida and Arizona. I have received a Medical Massage Certification and I have National Board Certification. The past two years I have been employed with Avon Park Chiropractic, Avon Park, Florida. I have enjoyed working with people through massage and gained much experience through these past 9 years. I am excited to be in Arizona and look forward to
sharing massage with you!
