My Healthy Tip: The better you treat your body, the better your body will treat you.
About Me: Aloha, my name is Kayleigh, I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for close to ten years now. I am an Arizona Native, I was born in Phoenix but moved to Henderson/ Las Vegas NV, in 2012 which is where I went to school for Massage Therapy. Then moved back in 2021. I would say I am a very intuitive Massage Therapist. I know pain personally. I listen intently to my client’s needs and wants, I listen to what the body tells me as well, it is hard to find a better explanation. I am an animal lover, nature lover, and a people person. I like to write, read, paint, draw, explore, and learn. I am mother to a beautiful 4-year-old daughter who is my heart walking around outside of my body. I have a 3-year-old goofy Border Collie/ Coyote Mix, who thinks he is a lapdog.
What Massage Means To Me: Anatomy and Physiology has always fascinated me though being a coroner, going through medical school was not in the cards for me. I saw a commercial for Nevada School of Massage Therapy and went in to see my options, I fell in love with all of it immediately, I not only got to learn about the human body and how it works but also how to help others begin their own inner intrinsic healing, as well. The biggest wow moment while going to school for Massage for me was watching a group of volunteer Massage Therapists travel to a very poor orphanage in Africa where there were 50 babies to only 2 caregivers’ ratio, so a lot of the infants were getting very ill and passing away. The Massage Therapists arrived and began performing massages on all the children for about a month or so and not one child was sick or had died during their time there, the babies were not getting enough physical human touch or interaction. Human touch is such a vital thing in our lives that not all people get, and it is astounding what human touch alone does for the body let alone a massage. Compassion, Understanding, and Respect are just 3 of the biggest morals I live by.
