My Healthy Tip: Remember to breathe. When you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed, take a few moments to pause and breathe deeply. Place your hand on your chest and slowly inhale all the way in, expanding your lower belly, and then breathe slowly and gently all the way out. Breathing will return you to your center, clear your mind, help to relax your shoulders and you will feel better
About Me: Aloha, my name is Nell, and I am excited to be of service to you and working at this spa. I relocated to Arizona from Santa Barbara, California in 2019, and am planning to attend acupuncture school soon at PIHMA. I have been teaching and sharing acupressure points for self-care healing with people for over twenty years and am happy to include them in my massages. I have a sweet life and enjoy many fun activities including painting pictures of trees, hiking, creating music, playing guitars and drums, spending time with my husband, daughter and sweet little old dog named Lefty.
What Massage Means To Me: I was drawn to the massage profession naturally through my interest in acupressure points, which I was originally introduced to while practicing martial arts. Applying them to a massage is so deeply therapeutic and boosts your body’s innate healing processes. Massage has benefitted me personally throughout the years and I am called to share the wealth and use this skill to help improve other people’s quality of life. It’s a rewarding job and brings me joy to see people transform with this work.
