Hello, my name is Sandy. I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2009 after graduating from Everest College in Vancouver Washington with high honors, I specialized in spa services and I enjoy everything about working in a spa. My approach to body work is what I call relaxing treatment. I work slowly with the body to assess what it needs and combine a mixture of Swedish, deep tissue and myofascial release to work with the body to provide a relaxing, yet effective massage.
I absolutely love using hot stones in a massage and find them to be very effective at promoting deep relaxation and accelerating the melting of fascia, tension and pain. I have worked with many auto accident and injury clients over the years and enjoy working with clients through a series of services to help with their recovery. The healing process of the body is incredible and I like being part of the process to create a therapeutic environment for change giving the body some relief to heal itself.
I recently moved to the valley from Washington state and love it here in Arizona. I grew up on beautiful Whidbey Island in Washington (near the San Juan Islands) and enjoy visiting family and the ocean whenever I can. I have two fantastic sons who still live in Washington.
I have worked in the massage industry as an employee, an independent contractor, an educator and business owner. Prior to my massage career I practiced graphic design for 20 years and I am also a nationally certified phlebotomist. I live with my awesome husband of 28 years and two silly cats who provide constant entertainment. When I have spare time I like to watercolor paint, crochet and get out and explore this amazing Arizona state.
I would love to meet you and customize a massage session just for you!
