Hi there my name is Savannah and I am a proud employee of Hawaiian experience Spa. I’m 21 years young and I love what I do! Massage therapy has always been a passion for me ever since I was 12yr old. There are so many different strengths and different training that we massage therapist specialize in. I tailor to the needs of each client I have to the best of my ability.
My strengths include deep tissue work, working with clients who need that special touch to be able to reach muscles that are hard to get to. This is done in order to relieve chronic pain and tension in those deeper muscles in the body. However this is done in a specific manner to insure that “you” the client doesn’t leave with injured muscles. Another strength is working with clients who have been in certain accidents or injuries (usually minor) that have caused certain muscles to not function as well. So I work with stretching and moving the body around seeing what muscles need to be specifically focused on. Although my strengths include a lot of corrective work I don’t negate the clients who just want to come in and de-stress from everyday life with a relaxing Swedish massage.
I have been trained in all these modalities in an accredited school tailored just to massage therapy. My training included long hours of hands on and a lot of in class work ensuring that I am knowledgeable in all of my modalities (deep tissue, corrective, and relaxation massage)
I commit to my clients in making sure that we are able to resolve the issue at hand. Massage therapists are not miracle workers but we can do everything with in our scope of practice to help anyone in need, and to provide our clients with any tools they may need outside of what we do. I will always be committed to working with my clients for as long as they need me, and I will commit to using what I know to insure that my clients get the best results I can give them.
I got into this line of work because of my desire to help others in a natural and healthy environment. I intend to let that desire drive me to be the best therapist I can be.
