I am an Ohio native and moved to Phoenix in 2013. I have been a licensed massage therapist for 10 years and have a passion to learn and grow by studying new techniques and ideas that benefit my clients and myself. Prior to becoming a massage therapist, I was a nurse’s assistant in behavior health. I still like to nerd out on the human mind and body connection. While in the nursing field, I was thinking of going back to school to become an RN when fate stepped in. A small postcard arrived in the mail advertising a massage therapy school in a neighboring town. With my interest in the unity of the mind and body, it just seemed like the perfect fit for me. Since then, I have been able to travel across the country, own my own business, become a member of the Chamber of Commerce, learn more skill sets and meet some truly amazing people. I have been accredited by the Better Business Bureau and belong to the National Association of Powerful Women. With close to 20 years in health care, learning to take care of myself has been a big part of my days outside of work. I enjoy bike riding, getting lost in bookstores, playing pinball, hiking around the mountain in Phoenix and playing board games with my son and daughter. If I gt a chance to catch a movie it is usually horror or comedy. My passion for the industry has allowed me to explore so many places on my journey through life. For me being a therapist is not just a job but a livelihood.
