Our featured products this month are from the new Mangosteen Collection from Eminence Organic Skincare! This collection features two retail products, a cleanser and serum, and one professional peel. This collection features a natural lactic acid complex which gently resurfaces the skin revealing a smooth and radiant complexion. The professional product is the Mangosteen Lactic Pro Peel 10%. Do not be fooled by the term “acid” in the ingredients as this is not a chemical peel, but an enzyme peel. This eats away dead skin cells and you do not actually peel afterwards unlike chemical peels. The professional peel is a creamy/pulp peel which removes surface build up. The Red Clover Flower Extract in this peel refines and improves skin tone to minimize pore size. You will love this peel! It is very gentle, not itchy and not hot.
For retail, Eminence has provided us with a cleanser and a concentrate, which is like a serum. First is the Mangosteen Daily Resurfacing Cleanser, which is a milky gel cleanser that sloughs off dead skin without over-stripping the surface. This cleanser is slightly creamy but creates a light lather to perfectly cleanse the skin and remove build up on the surface of your skin. Pores appear minimized and skin is left feeling fresh and smooth.
The second retail product is the Mangosteen Daily Resurfacing Concentrate. This is a creamy serum-like product, just like the award-winning Bamboo Firming Fluid. This concentrate has the lactic acid complex from ribose and red clover flower extract in it which gently resurfaces the skin all throughout the day and night. Mangosteen, another key ingredient in these products, is a super fruit that help protect skin from drying environmental stressors while promoting natural radiance. This concentrate along with the cleanser and regular peels from your aesthetician will leave your skin glowing, pore size minimized, and your skin will be more receptive to further treatment!
I have personally tried all three of these products and I LOVE them; plus they smell amazing which is always a bonus!
