Lomi Lomi is Native to the Hawaiian Islands, lomi lomi is an incredible full body experience in which the entire body is massaged simultaneously in a continuous movement. Performed for centuries in ancient Hawaiian Temples as a rite of passage and renewing ritual, the secrets of the lomi lomi are only very slowly being brought to the mainland. In ancient Hawaii, lomi lomi was frequently performed with two practitioners but it is extremely rare to find this offered today. Lomi Lomi uses long flowing strokes that run the entire length of your body from head to toe in one continuous motion, working both the upper and under sides of your body. Your therapists’ arms will embrace you as the rhythmic waves of motion send deeply relaxing sensations to your brain. This unique experience is great for relaxation, muscle tension, muscle pain, detoxification, increasing circulation, anxiety, depression and more.

The Hawaiian Experience Lomi Lomi Massage is a custom experience where we can intermix traditional bodywork with the lomi lomi techniques to address your specific needs. Your therapist will consult with you and craft the session to address your goals whether they be relaxing, deep muscle release, or simply an amazing one of a kind Hawaiian Experience!

Hawaiian lomi lomi massage is typically not taught to massage therapists in school, therefore Hawaiian Experience Spa trains each of our therapists in this exotic form of bodywork with our in-house instructors. Each therapist is encouraged to combine our lomi lomi training with their other education and own skill sets to provide you with a custom experience. Unlike many spas we encourage therapists to be creative and use their talents to help you have an exceptional experience each and every time. As each therapist brings something a little different to the experience, we encourage you to try them all.
