The ocean has always been a key part of Hawaiian culture. It provides food, travel and entertainment and surrounds the Hawaiian Island Archipelago with its awesome beauty and power. The entertainment aspect of the ocean includes many activities ranging from swimming to the high adventure sport of kite surfing.
